Hi ABWer's,

Everyone here at the AC Lens office is a big baseball fan. I'm pleased to announce we decided to mix business with pleasure and open our own baseball store right here in Columbus, Ohio called Baseball Rampage. The store is packed with the hottest selling equipment from Easton (http://www.baseballrampage.com/Baseball/Brands/Easton/80/Easton-Brand-Products.html), Louisville Slugger (http://www.baseballrampage.com/Baseball/Brands/Slugger/82/Slugger-Brand-Products.html), DeMarini (http://www.baseballrampage.com/Baseball/Brands/Demarini/85/Demarini-Brand-Products.html), and more. The product line covers everything you'll need for your team including catchers gear, gloves, and bats.

The BaseballRampage.com website officially launched a few weeks ago and I'm happy to announce we're now opening an affiliate program on both Commission Junction (https://signup.cj.com/member/brandedPublisherSignUp.do?air_refmerchantid=2094385) and ShareASale (http://www.shareasale.com/shareasale.cfm?merchantID=13358).

Similar to the AC Lens program, Baseball Rampage strives to be a leader in it's vertical. The program will include the highest starting commission, longest return days, and will be spyware/adaware prohibitive. We'll have proactive program management and we'll be just as open to suggestions as we are on the AC Lens side.

Here's some more info on the program.

Program Details:

- Commission Junction and ShareASale (auto-deposit)
- 9% per sale is the highest starting commission among baseball only retailers.
- 45 return days (365 days on SAS)
- Comprehensive product datafeed available on CJ and SAS.
- Coupon codes
- Custom graphics, links, and coupon codes upon request.

Baseball Rampage will be adding GoldenCAN, Product Showcase Creator, an internal feed generator, along with other exciting 3rd party tools over the coming weeks.

Here are some site statistics but these are very early returns so don't take them as gospel:

Conversion Rate - 3.5%
Avg Order - $152

Why wait...join the Baseball Rampage program today!

Baseball Rampage ShareASale (http://www.shareasale.com/shareasale.cfm?merchantID=13358)

Baseball Rampage Commission Junction (https://signup.cj.com/member/brandedPublisherSignUp.do?air_refmerchantid=2094385)

If you have any questions about the program or BaseballRampage.com in general, please don’t hesitate to contact me at bdrumm [@] baseballrampage.com.

Regards,

Bob

A great cross selling opportunity would be an eye chart in the batting cage ;)

OK, Bob. I signed up at SAS. Now I'm awaiting approval.

Love the popshops stuff and plan to start putting something up with popshops as soon as I'm "good to go."

Thanks Bob, that was quick!

BTW -- I just registered a domain that I've had in mind which will work well, I think, with your baseball program. (And if you'll follow through with Haiko's eye charts in batting cages theme, I could probably get your contact lens stuff up, too. :joke:

Great news...let me know if you need anything to get the new domain going. The eye charts are a great idea but you could always add the Nike Maxsight (http://www.aclens.com/displaylens.asp?LensID=291) from AC Lens. It's the only contact lens on the market specifically made for sports and a perfect cross selling opportunity :approval:

Good luck!

Whoa, Bob, shows ya what a "rookie" I am at this whole affiliate marketing stuff, really. I was making a joke -- and you just gave me what I think might be a great idea for this cross sale, and some others I'm madly pondering even as we speak (write? whatever).

Keep up the good work!

Later this month, we'll be offering a free gift with any purchase, a new gift ideas landing page, and a site wide sale for the holidays. I'll have more details on these specials in about a week.

We just added PayPal as a payment option and will be adding Bill Me Later later this week. We hope these new payment solutions provide a higher average order size and increase converions.

Finally, I'm looking for four very proven affiliates to provide a very special offer.

email your preferred network, affiliate ID, and a short description of how you think you can sell baseball equipment this Q4 to bdrumm at baseballrampage.com. I'll get back to you should we wish to send over the offer.

April is one of the top 3 months for baseball equipment sales so get in while the gettin's good!

We have numerous features on our site that set us apart from the competition. First, the majority of our high end products (specifically gloves) have images that can be rotated, zoomed in and out, etc. You can give this unique feature a try on our Rawlings Primo Glove (http://www.baseballrampage.com/Baseball/Baseball_Gloves/Baseball_Gloves/106/106/83/1197/PRM1275.html). You can click and drag the glove giving you a 360 degree view as well as zoom in to the stitches to see exactly what you're getting.

Baseball Rampage also has a "Rampage Bucks" rewards program. Every visitor earns 5% back in the form of Rampage Bucks on every order which can be applied to future purchases. The rewards program is automatically applied to every purchaser who signs up for an online account so promote the 5% off in addition to our regular specials, deals, and/or coupons.

We also have a youth store (http://www.baseballrampage.com/Baseball/Types/Youth_Baseball_Store/Youth_Baseball_Store/148/148/Youth-Store.html) built out so your visitors can easily find the products their kids need for tee-ball and little league. To my knowledge we're the only site that makes finding product specifically for kids so easy to find.

Some pretty big news for baseball affiliates. Baseball Rampage has just added Bill Me Later as a payment option. Now buyers can receive no payments for 90 days on any order over $100!

We noticed a nice conversion bump when we added PayPal so we think the addition of Bill Me Later should help conversions as well as increase average order sizes.

Great news...2009 Baseball Bats are here! We now have stock, or are taking pre-orders, on all 2009 bats from Easton, DeMarini, Miken, and more.

Affiliates who add them fast get the advantage of sooner indexing by the search engines, sales from early adopter (i.e. I have to have this new product now) buyers, and little competition.

Link to our 2009 Baseball Bats (http://www.baseballrampage.com/Baseball/Types/2009_Baseball_Bats/213/213/2009_Baseball_Bats.html) page now!

Another benefit to the release of 2009 bats is the big savings on all 2008 model bats. Link to our baseball bat clearance (http://www.baseballrampage.com/Baseball/Types/Clearance/167/167/Clearance.html) page which offers up to $40 off 2008 bats. The clearance rack doesn't have 2008 bats yet but will have them over the next couple of days.

Let me know if you have questions.

Bob
