Here's mine. My actual ABW avatar is my South Park Character. You can sort of see the similarities. Actually I guess the SP one is the kid, the Simpsons one is the grown up.

Rhea, you don't need to "make it a thumbnail". Simply attach and upload the file, it will show as a thumbnail.

By the way, your image is not showing up... :)
