Hey Everyone,

It was a pleasure speaking with some of you today, and going back and forth with emails. :stars:

Hectic was an understatement. What I was really surprised about is the number of people that are so advanced in database development.
It was really a surprise to Bob and myself, affiliate marketing is definitely advancing in leaps & bounds.

Speaking of data bases, SAS just uploaded a newer version of our feed, but we're trying to figure out why about 3,000 products are being dropped, Bob thinks it may be special characters.

We'll get it straightened out.

The feed is still good to use just missing a few items.

One last point, we learned from SAS is the feed due to it's size is listed as “host only” which means that the Sas online tools are not available (such as the Make-A-Page and the Widget Creator). You can actually still use the widget creator but you will need to use the “Free HTML” as opposed to the product picker. Affiliates downloading the feed from the SAS FTP server but will not have those online tools.

Brian [SAS} said they are working on that in the near future.

I am happy to have the feed to work with using a couple of PHP scripts I've got.

BUT -- I'm having a great time and good results building sites and pages with popshops and goldencan. It would be fantastic to have those tools available to work with your great program and products!

Yes, in fact I was talking to Angel at PopShops today and we agreed on a permissions change that he can implement.

We only wanted access to the PopShops tools with our DB to ftp approved affiliates, not to all affiliates. Therefore, if you wish to use PopShops please apply for ftp access.

In about a week they will know how the feed works within their criteria.

As far as Golden Can I sent off an email and was waiting for a response. I intend to call tomorrow to follow up!

So both are in the works. :approval:

Great, let's get you started, if you need advise on what products to offer we can help. We know what the top sellers are.

The best conversions come from a site recommending a specific product.

We have an affiliate that has a niche site about pocket pets, she recommends a particular cage that the pet owner should have.

Well she sells 1 or 2 a week sometimes more at $139 ea plus other stuff like food toys etc.

Blogs by their very nature should do well.
