I believe they are discontinued (hardware) outside of selling MAC and MAC-Life accounts. My Apple hardware links all died. :thumbsdow

Sweet. I wonder why my links still work?

Can you see if your ID is on?

Now Apple Computers has a vendor program for $$$ with a special certification. Only MAC and iTunes seem to still have affiliate programs.

Curious,
Annie

You should be getting a Page Cannot Be Displayed error. If your links are still working, I would ask the Linkshare Moderator to look into it by posting on the Linkshare forum.

They've been at CJ for over a month and a half now. But the LS links should be getting those error messages.

This email tells it all (emphasis added):

June 5, 2007

Dear LinkShare Affiliate,

LinkShare would like to thank you for your participation in the Apple Store US affiliate program. We regret to inform you that Apple has made a business decision to shut down the Apple Store US and Apple Store Canada LinkShare Affiliate Programs. Please note that iTunes and .mac affiliate programs are not affected and are continuing to run their programs through the LinkShare Network.

All Apple Store US LinkShare links will work until End of Day June 30, 2007, and Apple Store US will pay commissions earned through such date on Net Orders received through a LinkShare affiliate link. After June 30, the program will no longer accept transactions, so links will cease to work and sales commissions will no longer accrue. If you have any questions, please contact appleaffiliates@linkshare.com.

Once again, we thank you for your support.

Sincerely,

The LinkShare Team
So links still work, Apple gets sales, and no commissions will be paid.

They work in the sense, they still go thru apparently but

Apple Store on LS Did Not Track!

not work in the sense they won't track.

"After June 30, the program will no longer accept transactions, so links will cease to work and sales commissions will no longer accrue."

And that's what you see, maybe the word work should have been track and LS should have those error message up. But they did give notice, you posted the email, there are threads in the CJ forum about their program going live.

i just tested the Linkshare links, and got a error page.

Did you go thru an itunes link and then go to the apple store from there?

I clicked a link on my site. It is buried on my site and I have never made a sale with them. I don't actively promote them. The link still works.
No big deal. I'll change the links out or remove them all together.
I take responsibility...didn't realize they had moved.
