It's a train...
It's a plane...
It's a speeding bullet...

NOT!

It's a Dynamic Holiday Widget!! Was just brainstorming with Brian about creative widget-ing...and came up with this. A single piece of creative featuring Halloween games..then when Halloween is over, it'll update to feature Thanksgiving, then Christmas games.

Total update, including color palatte (from orange and black, to red and green, etc) and featured products.

All you'd have to do is copy/paste the code into your site once, and it'll do the rest for you! Take a quick peek, I stuck it on my Widget Testing Grounds (http://greatadventuregear.com/ShareASale/widgettest.html#Printable). If you pull code from there, please don't forget to replace my test ID with your own ShareASale ID. Or...you can just pull the code from here, just replace !!USERID!! with your ID and voila!

<script type="text/javascript">
<!--
sas341tabidvalue = '!!USERID!!';
sas341tabafftrackvalue = '';
// -->
</script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://widgets.shareasale.com/3373/341.js?u=!!USERID!!">
</script>

Hmm. OK. Hmm. Uh, Carolyn, maybe it's just me, because I know I'm gettin' old and feebler than I used to be -- but when I tried the code for the widget you have in this thread, I couldn't get it to work.

On the other hand, when I went to the Widget Creatives link in my SAS account and grabbed the code, it worked fine.

Perhaps I simply missed something when I copied it from this thread? I dunno. But if anyone else has the problem, just log into your SAS account, go to widgets there and grab the code. It'll work.

Hi Writeguy

If you copy and paste directly into an html editor (front page style editor) the codes tend to change and you will get an error, you could paste into a blank notepad and then recopy and then paste into the html editor, the codes will not change and would surely work.

Thanks for the Holiday Widget. Carolyn :kiss:

You're welcome! :)

And thanks for the solution, Sunil! I guess it's because copying and pasting directly from here throws off the line spacing? Not sure, but using Notepad gets the job done. Thanks!!

Per popular demand, I've created a wider dynamic holiday widget :) We'll call this one "bubba" and the other one "junior." This one is 550px wide.

Here's the code, and like the man sez a few posts up, you may need to copy the code into notepad, then copy from notepad into your site to preserve the formatting. Or, simply login to ShareASale and pull it yourself. Here's a link to the widget code (http://www.shareasale.com/a-widgetsource.cfm?widgetID=345) .

If you use the code below, don't forget to replace !!USERID!! with your own ShareASale ID!

<script type="text/javascript">
<!--
sas345tabidvalue = '!!USERID!!';
sas345tabafftrackvalue = '';
// -->
</script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://widgets.shareasale.com/3373/345.js?u=!!USERID!!">
</script>
