From Union Square. A few more of my pics here. (http://www.nightfireproductions.com/gallery/v/gallery/cities/newyorkcity/memorials/)
Many more not scanned yet, didn't have a digital camera yet. I was at NYU on Washington Square Park, and spent several days just walking were I was allowed. I didn't venture below Canal or above 14th Street, those were my boundaries for about a week.

Saddening date, but one that we have to remember condolencing upon your the loss of the families that suffered, yet uniting in the ugly face of the international terrorism. (These inhumane creatures still attempt to scare us (http://www.guardian.co.uk/september11/story/0,,2166708,00.html))

Been reflecting since late last night... will be pretty quiet today... it's hitting hard this year for some reason.
not sure how this is moving forward, but there is a movement to make Sept 11 a national day of good deeds.

I can't believe it has been 6 years. Still feels so recent.

Jen has that link on the page that the penquin links to. But every day should be a day where we all do at least one "good deed". IMO.

duh, I just got what you were saying Deb. I have a cold today, so everything is taking a bit longer to sink in. I see now that the image was linked to Jen's page.
