I represent a new (6 months old) online catalog store, similar to Ant*nline and Amaz*n as far as product line that is looking to launch a new affiliate program. This is our first online store and its been a very educational 6 months and we feel its time to launch an innovative and unique affiliate program.

I have done some research here before posting and I believe we are looking for a part-time to full-time affiliate manager who can get an understanding of our goals and then manage the entire a-z process of coming up with program specifics, payout rates and types then recruit affiliates and actively manage communications with affiliates as well guide us on what offerings to put in place to keep motivated affiliates. We see this likely as a '1st phase' project to get a successful affiliate program ramped up - and then provide ongoing support or work with and train junior staff we can hire to be in house or remote .

As far as affiliate networks, I believe Shareasale is the best one I can see here that would fit in our budget for startup and ongoing costs, but we are willing and wanting to provide aggressive and attractive commission strategies to attract top performing affiliates.

One of the things that makes us unique is that we are a very small company and built the website in question (still in progress) but have nearly unlimited resources in-house for programming as well as a network of regular contractors that provide web copy and graphics design - so we can quickly create media, copy other tools and resources. I want us to be able to eventually have an affiliate program as robust or better than allposters, in that there are highly advanced options for affiliates to dynamically display and work with any part of our catalog of well over 800,000 in stock skus. We can basically build any and all tools you need for your affiliates to help them be successful, including innovative tools that may not exist on the traditional merchant who is 100% dependent on the network's tools or 3rd party resources.

We are results driven and are focused on a path to be one of the largest online shopping destinations within a years time.

Here is a summary of what we are looking for:

- Identify and recruit affiliates
- Maintain relationships with affiliates
- Work with management for optimizing program and offerings
- Help establish monthly affiliate revenue goals
- Help provide us with information on the tools and services we can build to offer a unique proposition to affiliates compared to other merchants in our same industry
- Communicate with and provide support to affiliates
- Help plan and establish pay structures and programs
- Work with our design and writing staff to create advertising media

# QUALIFICATIONS

- At least 2-5 years of continuous and active affiliate management experience
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Attention to detail and organization
- Sales oriented and results driven

We are looking to get signed up with Sharealsale this week and start work immediately, and have the affiliate operation in full swing within the next 7-10 days.
