Why does the commission scale decrease as the purchase amount increases? lol I don't think I have ever seen that before.

So that first sale for $245.09 would generate $24.91 this time, but if the next sale from the same affiliate turn out to be for $1000,00 he would only get $20.00 bucks? :confused2

You're all right. Such is the commission pattern, and it is conditioned by the fact that the higher ticket items have much lower profit margin. Initially this merchant wanted to offer was 2% on all items, but we have worked out the above-quoted commission pattern, seeking to reward affiliates more on lower priced items (where there is room for more commission).
