Hi, couple of comments...
http://www.crazycustomcaps.com/hat_types.php
I chose the $9 brushed cotton hat at random...
1. Where, other then the suprise on the order form page, does it tell people that this hat actually costs $ 31.50 because you customized it?
2. Where does it say what network you're on?
3. If the hats DO sell for $9, then 10% commission is acceptable. If they actually sell for $30, then you're not even in the same ball park as your competitors. Commission needs to be doubled.

I like that the background of the dropdown menu in the "pick stitching color" matches the color of the hat - so the person know if the embroidering choice goes with the hat color choice - nice touch :)

Gday Billy,
the prices for embroidery are mentioned on the text layout page. Front Embroidery $8.70! Back Embroidery $7.95! and custom design option $35.
Our average customer order is around $55, so $5.50 commission, as far as I was aware our main large competitor pays the same 10% , we pay 2nd tier as well, and a monthly bonus.
Cheers

Who pays $30 -50 for a hat?
a baseball hat?
I have a tough time justifying a spend of $15 on something as non-essential as a new cap.
so how out of touch AM I today?

People don't tend to pay a set up fee for a one-off printed cap, but will pay it for a group or a company if they want embroidery. There are less expensive options for regular custom printed caps, but if someone wants a nice embroidered one, they will probably pay the extra to get it made.
(I haven't looked at this site specifically yet)

Uhhhhhmmmmmm..... I'm still learning..... is the custom clothing (Mojico) link at the bottom a leak..... it leads straight to a page with nothing but a couple of big old Google Ads banners and a link back to the shop...... and THAT page has links leading off to other places.... there's also a link page at the bottom of the main page that has several links leading off.... sorry..... I just need to see if I'm understanding leaks before I decide whether or not to add a banner.....

Gday, the average is around $50 because customers tend to order more than 1 hat, mainly small business for presentation and promotion, i guess a few wealthy kids order a cap with a custom design on it, our record price for 1 cap with custom logos digitized cost US$90. we get many single cap orders with 1 custom logo for around $60. I understand your surprise, I would not spend that much either, but there are many millionaires that shop with us around the world.

Since the commission was 10% when you announced, that should stay the same, your adding a post with the increase is sufficient. Unless you plan to go retroactive on the 10% back to the date of your first post :)

Thanks. The egg comes off fairly easily these days.
I truly think a "teflon skin" is better than a "thick skin"

Yes, teflon skin is the best, let things slide off :)
