Dyscern CEO, Jennifer Canty, on CBS Evening News this Friday discussing Black Friday and online sales during the holiday season. Check in at the 4 minute mark in the podcast below:

Dyscern has apparently become the darlings of CBS news. :)

They were just part of a story at the end of the telecast on 11/27/07 about shoppers from other countries coming to the US to make purchases due to the weak dollar.

All this media exposure has to be good for branding... congrats Loxly and Dyscern!

Apparently the site was down for a short time this evening, after the CBS broadcast. They are working on making sure they have capacity for that kind of traffic in the future!

Thanks for the heads up and sorry I wasn't actually at the computer! Trust, twitter it next time :)

I know Debbie is on a plane at the moment so I will correct one thing from above and give a quick update.

Please disregard the third of the three coupons. I hadn't updated Debbie and let her know that we are out of Samsung K-3s.

Also, I noticed that the iPods errord out on our CJ feed. I am working on resolving that.

Thanks!

Could you provide datafeed to publishers?

There is a data feed available through CJ. Also, the issue mentioned earlier with the iPods and the feed has been resolved.

Thanks.
Don't get me wrong here, but seeing this, imo strange trend, I would like to know what's the deal in SELLING the datafeed which benefits ALL the parties? Do you get a part of the revenue?

CJ charges for access to the datafeeds, not the individual merchants. Merchants do not get a cut of the fees.

Here's a tip on how to best promote Dyscern to your sites shoppers, link to the categories instead of individual products. There stock changes drastically day to day, but they always have the same types of products, just not necessarily the same exact products day to day. If your shoppers are looking for deals, this is where you need to send them!
