Buckle.com, a fashion-forward specialty clothing retailer is looking for an Affiliate Marketing Manager for our Kearney, Nebraska office. This is a full-time position.
Requirements:
We are seeking an experienced Affiliate Manager who will be responsible for leading/managing online affiliate relationships for Buckle.com.
* Bachelors Degree
* 3+ years experience in marketing account management
* Proficient knowledge of internet marketing strategies or prior media experience
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong negotiation skills, as well as excellent problem solving and follow up skills
* Strong analytical skills and able to demonstrate proficiency in measuring response rates, ROI, etc.
* Agency contacts or knowledge of CPA / PPC advertising a plus
* Able to work under pressure, handle multiple active accounts and meet predetermined goals
* Proven track record with recruiting efforts for affiliate programs/networks
* Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
* Exceptional work ethic
Duties Include:
* Identify and recruit new and relevant affiliates to our network. Review incoming applications and verify partner information.
* Manage and grow relationships with publishers and affiliates by providing exceptional account service.
* Audit affiliate partners for program compliance.
* Research and advise affiliates on efficient methods of optimizing their revenue on an ongoing basis.
* Provide weekly updates on key metrics, ROI, and key trends for marketing programs.
* Plan, execute, and optimize joint co-branded marketing campaigns.
* Coordinate with in-house Design for internal & external creative needs.
* Regular communication over the phone, through email, newsletters and blog with affiliates.
* Provide affiliates with selling tools to ensure program growth. (Storefronts, Merchandiser Feed, Text Links, and Banner Ads)
* Develop and review variance reports to monitor the health of the program. Reach out to underutilized affiliates with a plan to grow that business.
* Manage and reconcile commissions with each affiliate monthly.

Are you willing to let the person work abroad or from a different location?
We would prefer to have a manager on location at the national headquarters in Kearney, Nebraska. Our marketing, sales support staff, and merchandise buyers are here and are a wealth of information that cannot be replicated while telecommuting.
Are you willing to outsource to an OPM?
We would prefer to have a manager dedicated to Buckle and an integrated part of our marketing team.
What is the salary range?
The Salary/Wage is dependant upon experience and later performance.

The candidate will not manage anyone immediately. However, as the program grows and the need is warranted, the candidate will be key in growing and managing the affiliate team.
Will Buckle include travel to relevant conferences and events?
The candidate will be required to attend at least one conference a year. The choice of which conference to attend is left to the candidate’s discretion.
Describe the office atmosphere.
Although, we’re the headquarters for the company, we’re casual at the office. The majority of Teammates wear jeans.
Describe the subordination.
This candidate will report to the director of eMarketing / Online Business Development formally on a weekly basis. Otherwise, we’re a fairly small team and my door is always open. The director reports to the Executive eCommerce Director. The Executive eCommerce Director reports to the CEO.
If the program already exists - is it an in-house one or does it operate on an affiliate network and which one?
The Buckle affiliate program has been running for several years in-house. We operate on the affiliate network, LinkShare, but are open to new ideas.
