Front Page Annoying

Why is it that when you go to http://www.abestweb.com/ you can not see all the forums and you have no way of getting to the list of forums like you can see when you go here http://forum.abestweb.com/index.php. Instead I have to hit the back key or choose one of the listed forums and then find the link back to the proper index at http://forum.abestweb.com/index.php?

At the top of the page where the breadcrumbs are:

Click on Forum and it opens up the full list.

Yes but you still have to click an extra page. For example lets say you wanted to go to the GAN board or one of the boards that are not listed on the home page, you would have to click through to midnight cafe the go back to ABW > Forum and then look for the GAN link and then click again, how many extra clicks is that? I think that is 2 extra clicks and time wasting.

At the bottom of the page there is a forum jump drop down.

I specifically made http://www.abestweb.com a condensed version of http://forum.abestweb.com solely for ease of navigation, please tell me how I can make it better.

No problem at all, Haiko. It is fine the way it is.

I have bookmarks to forum.abestweb.com set on two computers and my iPhone. If I somehow manage to enter through www.abestweb.com, I'll hit any link and then, when that page appears, simply hit "New Posts." I always begin looking through New Posts to see whatever I may have missed since my previous visit.

It would be good if there was a link to the forum index page from the home page if you want an idea how I think it would be better.

NOT to be a Richard, BUT, why does this irritate you?

I had such a hard time coming to this site and finding the forum, that by the time I actually figured out how to get here, I knew the site like the back of my hand.

Front pages of sites like Haiko's ( and mine inclussive ), are for search engine placement, promoting those we do business with and making money with the rest of our site.

If you are lucky enough to find a forum in the background like this, WELCOME. ( BTW, mine NOT inclussive )

And with all due respect, I know that you have been here and done that.

Just makes good sense for newbies to ramble around the site for a while before they get the opportunity to profit from our experience.

If Haiko goes broke ...... POOF!

I love this site.

If he put a humongous button on the home page that said " GO HERE BEFORE YOU RAMBLE THROUGH OUR SITE " - we would have 5 times more spam and newbies wanting all of the answers on day one.

I ramble....

Jimmy McDonald, no one is complaining about the website, as I have made it clear before (not sure if you bothered to read my earlier posts) but I had found it frustrating to have to go in several pages to get to a board where it would be better to be able to jump to it instantly or at least to the index. Yes the forum is great, I have no problems with the forum so I'm disapointed that this thread is heading that way in making it look like im a bad person for making some comments. It seems you can't even make some constructive comments these days without been attacked!
