Default Will you be my mentor?

Hi all,
I am looking to hook-up with a partner who have experience in affiliate marketing and will like to partner with a newbie such as myself. I constructed a website, dedicated to the Health Supplement market but my site will not convert. I am willing to do whatever it takes and offcourse willing to share. If you feel it is something you would like to sink your teeth into, Please let me know. Please, only serious people and only ones who actually make money in this business.

Thanks

I wish you luck, but people that have it working don't usually pair up with someone they don't know.

From reading threads in various forums or pages, well... you might be better off working hard and researching on your own than waiting for the golden egg to drop in from the skies.

My Bad - Your drug review site.

Why don't you change that darned header.

Scrolling left to right just ruins it.

Okayyy... not trying to pick a fight here but after reading your reply, something tells me that:

- you've a very short reading span(even worse than me who doesn't deal well with walls of text)
- you sound like a lot of people I meet in real life or on the net who want everything handed to them on a diamond-crusted platter

And I've got a really nice present for you:

yuri,
From the site you saw I built, how can you say that? I worked my a.. off for the last three months. Night and day. Adjusting and more adjusting. Working and more working. I guess you can't see it because I don't think you have much knowledge in this Internet Marketing. You don't know what it takes. You are rushed to judgment.

Sorry... for some bloody reason, the proxy for my ISP wouldn't load your site at all for the past 2 to 3 mins so I thought you were pulling a fast one. Now that I tried again, your site looks pretty good.

Good to hear that you are trying.

That's a plus..

Try going to the web publishing / code forum and ask them how to do it.

They love helping out if they can.

Can't you just go to that header page and change the width of the table?

Should be a no brainer.

But I'm just a rookie code monkey!

That is a nice present to give a newbie with questions. There are a lot of nuggets of great advice from a variety of people in that thread, and none of it is outdated.

Be nice. If you can't handle criticism you are in the wrong business.

You can work your butt of for a really long time and if the site isn't converting you need to tear it up and build it again differently.

There are tons of things that are readily available and educational that are FREE in this wonderful world of the internet .......

One of those FREE things is Education...

There are a ton of forums that you should be using instead of this whiny stuff.

I'd like to see your site work, 'cause I really like the url.

Has tons of potential.

Use the search function and read your a$$ off.

Been doing this for over 12 years and am still learning something everyday!

I have 12 years experience in Internet Marketing - and your site sucks as we've told you before. Get rid of the crap on your site and put some real products on it.

Change your table tag from:
Code:
<table border="0" style="border-collapse: collapse; position: absolute; left: 0px; top: 0px; width: 1267px; height:80px" id="table162" height="76" background="images/BackgraoundFullReviewGreen.jpg">

To:
Code:
<table border="0" style="width: 100%; height:80px" id="table162" height="76" background="images/BackgraoundFullReviewGreen.jpg">

And see if that will fix the page position.

Apparently.

As Remodeling Guy said there is lots of free information. Some people have the skills to be an affiliate marketer and some don't. Instead of paying a mentor (which you probably won't find) hire a web designer and people to do the "parts and pieces" of your sites.

In your several threads you have been given some very good information but don't seem to be able to act on it. A mentor isn't going to do the work for you, they are someone that would assist you in learning how to do it yourself.

To echo what others have said - let webmasters boards like this one mentor you. Read, learn, try, and ask specific questions. I think it's how most (all?) of those of us making a living online made it to this point...
