jumping in - is the water warm?
Hey Folks....
I am the new full time Affiliate Marketing Manager for Vann's, inc. Just started today. What I want to know is this - is the water warm or cold?
There certainly is a lot to get up to speed on. I've been in the advertising business for 10+ years and until last week was running the sales and marketing for a specialty online news magazine here in the rocky mountain northwest for the past 2 years.
Today is a whole new pool to swim in. Speaking of which, I am a swimmer for real and do triathlons to keep in shape when I'm not at work, chasing my 3 year old around the house or my husband down the ski slopes.
I also run an small and very local indoor advertising business and three free online community events calendars with a former coworker of mine. Our events sites will likely be affiliate sites soon, and this will certainly help me understand how it all works from both sides of the pool.
I am eager to learn best (and worst) practices from the lot of you. Feel free to give me feedback and expect to hear more from me and Vann's than you have in the past. I'll be regularly available and am excited for what will certainly be a few weeks of serious sink or swim (I'm banking on "swim!")

When BB's in the pool, the water always seems to be un-naturally warm around him. -
And that grin on his face is suspect too!

Hello, Molly. Welcome to ABW.
Yeah, c'mon in - the water's fairly calm and comfortably warm. Ya just gotta watch out for the occasional rip-current.

Ya know it's a tight knit community when everyone knows Burger Boy is peeing in the pool and they're still swimming around, happy as pie! -

More importantly, thanks for the warm welcome(s).
