Geno has already mentioned Funetics. I would like to confirm that we do accept NY affiliates. We are exempt from all sales tax, including NY. And we are below the $10K threshold.

Still taking requests.
Just to be clear - merchant url, network & reason for claiming NY Affiliate friendly. If I receive that information the process of being added is quick usually within a day. If I don't get all that information it will take about 5-7 business days to be listed.
If you haven't asked you are probably missing from list. Giving merchants a chance to be proactive on this issue. In addition to merchants contacting me, Networks and OPM's can send me lists too. As long as the info is there, they'll be listed quickly.
Any questions post them here or email me at the address in earlier post.

I received a couple more requests to be added to the list of merchants who accept NY affiliates. Just a friendly reminder, if you send merchant url, network & reason for claiming NY Affiliate friendly the process is quick, you'll be added in about a day. If I don't receive all information, including the reason, the process of being added will take about 5-7 business days. It seems most are neglecting to include the reason; when that happens I need to do research and that is an even greater strain/drain on my time.
In addition, if you are on two networks you must welcome NY affiliates through your programs at both networks or you will NOT be listed.

Next? It's up to you to reach out to affiliates. Any OPM/AM can send me the info if you want it to be listed. If any networks have a list of NY Affiliate friendly merchants also feel free to send them. As soon as I confirm I list.

Yup, Chuck, since you gave me complete information (a wonderful pdf that really simplified things) they were added right away. Feel free to send as many as you want.
I got another request this afternoon from a new merchant that will be added sometime this evening or tomorrow.

I hate it for the NYers but I think every merchant should do everything they can to support the affiliates

Wow, Mellie you guys have come such a long way. Congratulations to you and everyone standing beside you. I see that you are seen, rightfully so, as a leader in this industry. 
I am a brand new affiliate manager, but I'd like to think that I've also come a long way in just getting up to date with important issues and how things work but still have a long way to go. I've done tons of research and reading and I've been following as many threads as I can find on the whole NY Affiliate Tax solution. The more information I gather and the more prepared I am to bring it up to the owner of the company I work for, the better the chance to convince management that the New York Tax solution is the way to go.
My next step is to obviously contact legal advise and in some of the threads as well as the Boston Video I did catch 2 Attorney names, Mark Klein and Clarke D. Walton. I was planning on seeking legal advise from both of them since they seem to be well involved and informed on the issues. Would you have other recommendations in lieu of these 2 attornies? We are willing to contact 2 or 3 attornies to get a few opinions.
In addition, I do have a couple more detailed questions on the execution of the 2 step solution, but I didn't want to overload you with questions so I'll start with referrals to a couple of Attorneys.

Hi Peg, rather than this thread getting off topic and confusing if you could put your questions off into a separate thread it would be better.
I do have contact info for Mark Klein, feel free to email me for it. He's the NY tax attorney that drafted the documents and spoke at our meeting in Albany.
Clarke Walton was the lawyer that participated on the panel discussion. Both are great lawyers, highly recommended.
