This might be a very simple question, but where do I chnage the date format?

It really depends on what date you like to format. Most probably its expiration date and/or "posted" date. Then you need to change deal.tpl and coupons.tpl

look for something like: {$deal.creation_date|date_format:"%m/%d/%y"}

Thnaks, I actually fund it in the home.tpl file, and it apperas the template had an extra {$name}, which caused the date to be shown twice...

Works great now!
