I think the first thing you need to do is move your program to a major network... this along will help a bunch...
I reccomend Shareasale...
next you need lots of tools...
unbranded banners
content pages
Full page Creatives
a generic website template... perferably dynamic so it is always up to date
a datafeed
this just for starters...
The message I am getting by your post is we have an affilaite program... butit's not going anywhere... as long as you are with your current provider it will only spins it wheels...
your coming to ABW... was a smart move... many of the best marketer are here...
PM me if you like...

I have noticed a new trend here at ABW, an influx of Affiliate Recruiter Request.
Owners who do not want to be a part of the Networks are having a difficult time recruiting affiliates to their program.
Unfortunately there are so many pros and cons on this issue…
***The Big Networks have really given us the shaft these days and its time to move to the Indies….
***The Indies normally requires HIGH payouts first and lack the tools required to make their program a success.
Phil,
My suggestion – Pay Haiko to announce your program here!
Locate an Affiliate MANAGER not recruiter.
An affiliate manager not only manages the program but recruits as well. If you would like to discuss this further please do not hesitate to PM me.
I wish you the best!

Sandra:
Good observation. I think some merchants hesitate to sign on with an affiliate manager because it could have an impact on the way they run their business. Let's face it, an active AM will tweak a program - and, as a result, the business - to make it more productive.
I also think some merchants think that they should be able to say "We have an affiliate program," watch the affiliates flock to them, see the sales pour in and reap the profits. We all know it's not that easy; it has to be a core part of their business and managed with reasonable expectations.
Phil: If you return to this thread, take Sandra's advice.

Phil1960, are you looking to outsource management of the program like the title says, or bring on a recruiter like the message says?
