I'm trying to only use auto deposit merchants because temp offline just isn't going to cut it. Maybe this will inspire other merchants to move to auto deposit if affiliates only promote those who use this feature. Good for affiliates, merchants and SAS.

Good move on those 2 points Trust. Exactly what I'm promoting merchants to do. Easy to set up and they can set it to notify when they get to minimum $100.00 that way there's aways funds too.

Thank you for starting this thread, Trust. One minute is too long for a merchant to go offline as far as I'm concerned. If there's one thing I despise, it's sending a potential customer to a dead page and I don't do the redirect thing either. I only want the customer to end up on the merchant site they clicked thru to.

I'm not 100% sure but I think you can tell with the little logo that reads auto and has 4 "$" on it. |

I just setup auto-deposit, so it's now on the Buying-Bar-Stools.com program.
I hope this offers some peace of mind. I have noticed a few threads complaining about people going in and out of temporarily offline - and worse some that just stay there. Although we have never been there and don't plan on getting there, I hate the thought that people might second guess joining our affiliate program.
Personally I would love it if ShareASale had a trusted merchant seal. I can tell you that we have a great D&B rating, a very respectable bank balance and no problem with ShareASale doing any reference checks.

They do have the Certified Premier seal you can get. It's really pretty easy for a company like yours to get. (Just a few small changes.)

I just emailed Michael to see how to become a trusted merchant. Either I am blind or there is nothing in the merchant FAQ's or Merchant Account Manager telling me how to become one (or what exactly it means for that matter).

I even PM'd a few people but for some reason I have been ignored on this topic....Maybe I Have PM'd the wrong people. I run a clean and honest program and have never been offline.

To become a premier merchant you must meet this checklist - http://www.shareasale.com/premier/ - I will obviously do it, although it doesn't do anything to guarantee affiliates will be paid, it does make you keep $200 or more at all times. I imagine only dedicated program managers will bother doing it... hopefully that means something?
