Mike and Charlie, come in here...
I've learned about some of the Acronym's here at ABW, but there's one I'm still wondering about and Mr Sal advised me to ask you to explain it. So... pst.... WHAT'S A Adwhore™?

Adwhore= Someone who'd sell their soul for traffic on their street corner so they can turn tricks for clicks!

I thought that was just another word for corporate "journalists" on television.

LOL. I love it!
Unfortunately, the way search engines work, if we have websites and want linkpop for rankings and traffic, we have to become Linkwhores. I can relate. uke:

It scares me a bit that you work for an ad network and this is the first post you dug up.

turning it around like that implies you perform something worthwhile (trick).... before the click. Guess your right as on some crowded street corners you do see at lot of Adwhore's competing for attention being paraded by their pimps everywhere you turn. In both professions (Advertising & Whoring) that's called "turning a trick".
Now you see why both professions want to charge upfront for perceived value even if it turns out to be a case of putting "perfume on a pig" ... or drag queen

I'm putting the quote on my bulletin board...1) because it's way to funny and 2) it's sure to spark some good conversation among our in house team (I love AM)
